Readers may be aware of the recent accident in China in which online personality Tang Feiji, literally translated as “Tang Airplane,” died when his coaxial dual-rotor ultralight aircraft crashed in Jiange County, Guangyuan, Sichuan Province, on September 27.
The accident occurred when the ultralight he was piloting experienced a sudden loss of control, entered a vertical descent, and ignited upon impact.
Tang was live-streaming the flight at the time, and the crash has since sparked public debate on low-altitude safety
