Beijing aims to increase the scale of the low-altitude economy to RMB 100 billion within three years

In late September, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, along with other departments, released the Action Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Low-Altitude Economy Industry in Beijing (2024-2027).
If you’re a subscriber, this is the same plan that was open for public comment in May.
According to the plan, Beijing aims to increase the scale of the low-altitude economy to RMB 100 billion within three years. The city plans to expand the application of aerial emergency rescue services and promote regular low-altitude logistics delivery in areas like Yanqing, Pinggu, Miyun, and Fangshan. It will also explore the establishment of a low-altitude passenger route between Daxing Airport and Xiong'an New Area.
