AECC Debuts New Power Systems at Aero Asia 2025

The offerings span helicopters, fixed-wing UAVs, passenger eVTOL aircraft, and small to medium biz aircraft.

Among the state-owned players at Aero Asia 2025, Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC) stood out with a display of 58 types of general aviation power products. Of these, 29 were new, including the ATP120 turboprop engine, a 200 kW hybrid power system, and a pure electric propulsion system.

The offerings span helicopters, fixed-wing UAVs, passenger eVTOL aircraft, and small to medium business aircraft, reflecting the company’s growing role in China’s aerospace sector.

It also highlights increasing strength as the country seeks to expand indigenous aviation capabilities.
