XPeng AeroHT announced today a series of major milestones, including the launch of its new international brand, ARIDGE, a record batch of overseas orders, and the company’s first public crewed demonstration flight outside China.
The eVTOL manufacturer also introduced the A868 hybrid long-range eVTOL aircraft.
Let’s get into it.
On October 12, at an international event in Dubai, the company’s Land Aircraft Carrier completed a live demonstration flight over Palm Jumeirah.
The X3-F air module took off, flew along the Persian Gulf coast, and landed smoothly in front of officials and media, the company said, adding that the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority approved the flight plan.
During the event, XPeng AeroHT inked 600 purchase agreements with partners, including the UAE’s Ali & Sons Group, Qatar’s Almana Group, Kuwait’s AlSayer Group, and the Chinese Business Council in the UAE.
The company described this as the largest overseas bulk order in the “flying car” industry to date.

Adding to the excitement, XPeng AeroHT unveiled a new look and brand — ARIDGE — representing its vision of connecting the sky and the ground.
The name combines “Air” and “Bridge,” while the logo, based on a geometric reinterpretation of the Chinese character “飞” (meaning “to fly”), introduces a three-dimensional “Z” axis.
According to the company, the logo reflects the technological innovation and creative possibilities of flying cars and embodies their mission to “Make Flight Freer.”
The brand identity will appear on future mass-production models of the Land Aircraft Carrier.
The company has already updated its website and social media channels, including Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), to reflect the new brand.
Plans call for expanding internationally from the Middle East, with partnerships aimed at creating a global low-altitude aviation network, XPeng AeroHT said.

According to a press release, Du Chao, XPeng AeroHT’s chief financial officer and vice president, said the 12th year marks “a critical period of transformation from exploration to implementation.”
He added that the company will use the new brand “to pioneer a category of flying cars, offer leading low-altitude products, promote the popularization of low-altitude flight, and enable everyone to enjoy the freedom and convenience of flight.”
The Dubai event also highlighted the manufacturer’s A868, a hybrid long-range eVTOL currently under development.
It features a range of over 500 kilometers (310 miles) and a maximum speed exceeding 360 km/h (224 mph).
The aircraft is slated to debut in Guangzhou in November.
According to XPeng AeroHT’s three-step strategy, the A868 is intended to serve long-distance travel needs and — together with the Land Aircraft Carrier — support a range of low-altitude flight applications.
Meanwhile, the company noted that its smart manufacturing facility in Guangzhou was fully completed at the end of September.
The factory is expected to reach an annual production capacity in the “tens of thousands of units,” with official production and deliveries planned to begin in 2026.
At full capacity, XPeng AeroHT said one aircraft could roll off the line approximately every 30 minutes.
XPeng AeroHT said its collaboration in the Middle East dates back to 2022, when its Voyager X2 completed a public flight in Dubai. The company later partnered with Emirates Telecommunications and, in September 2025, became the first Chinese eVTOL manufacturer to receive a Manned Aircraft Special Flight Permit in Ras Al Khaimah.Video: XPeng AeroHT ARIDGE
