The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has issued the Interim Measures for the Administration of the Aerial Tourism Market, which officially came into effect on October 1, 2025.
The new rules aim to strengthen oversight of China’s rapidly developing aerial tourism sector, improve service standards, and safeguard the rights and interests of consumers.
Covering areas such as operational requirements, information disclosure, complaint handling, and supervision, the measures clarify the responsibilities of general aviation firms and civil aviation authorities alike.
By setting clear standards for safety, pricing, insurance, and consumer protection, the measures aim to promote a more transparent, orderly, and sustainable aviation tourism market in China.
Let’s get into it.
