On May 22, during the Fifth China Airport Development Conference, the China Civil Airports Association released the "Technical Requirements for Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) Aircraft Take-Off and Landing Sites."
Initiated at the end of 2023, this is China's first technical specification for eVTOL take-off and landing sites.
The standards were jointly drafted by the Guangdong UAV Industry Association, Wuhan Haiyi Technology Co., Ltd., EHang Intelligent Equipment (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., CITIC Offshore Helicopter Co., Ltd., and China Southern General Aviation Co., Ltd.
The standards were then submitted to the China Civil Airports Association.
