EAS 2026: Grab Your Discount!
Attendees can save $150 on registration with a China eVTOL News promo code.
The 20th Annual Electric Aircraft Symposium (EAS) returns to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, on July 18–19, ahead of AirVenture Oshkosh, the world’s largest aviation gathering.
China eVTOL News has partnered with EAS 2026 to offer its readers a special registration discount.
Attendees can save $150 on registration by using promo code EAS2026CHINAEV at checkout, gaining reduced-cost access to the symposium’s in-person and online programs, session recordings, presentation files and a complimentary Vertical Flight Society membership.
Celebrating its twentieth year, EAS is the world’s longest-running advanced air mobility conference and will bring together more than 50 speakers and moderators for 12 sessions examining electric propulsion, aircraft development, infrastructure and regulatory issues.
Participants include Robinson Helicopter Compay; ten eVTOL developers — AIR EV, BETA Technologies, Eve, Horizon Aircraft, Joby Aviation, Jump Aero, LamVec Technology, Pivotal Aero, Skyfly and Wisk; and seven conventional electric takeoff and landing (eCTOL) and electric short takeoff and landing (eSTOL) aircraft developers — ALPHAFROG, Ampaire, AURA AERO, Bye Aerospace, Electra Aero, EVIO Aircraft and Pipistrel.
The program also features propulsion companies H2FLY, Hydroplane, magniX, Pratt & Whitney Canada, RED Aircraft and Whisper Aero, alongside infrastructure and technology organizations including Bosch Aviation Technology, Electro Aero, Five-Alpha, Harper 4D Solutions, NEXA Capital and Vertiport Chicago.
Representatives from NASA and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are also slated to participate.
EAS 2026 will spotlight two recent FAA initiatives influencing electric aviation and advanced air mobility in the United States — the Modernization of Special Airworthiness Certification (MOSAIC) rule, which expands light sport aircraft categories to include electric propulsion, rotorcraft and powered-lift aircraft, and the eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP), which includes eight projects across 26 states involving manufacturers, operators, airports and state partners.
Jeffrey U. Vincent, FAA Southern Region Administrator, will represent the agency at EAS 2026.
Electric aviation pioneers Mark Moore of Whisper Aero and Dr. Tine Tomažič of Pipistrel, who first presented at EAS in San Francisco in 2007 and 2008 respectively, will return to share perspectives on the evolution of electric aviation and advanced air mobility over the past two decades.
The symposium will be held at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in the Reeve Memorial Union, located at 748 Algoma Boulevard, approximately five miles (8 km) north of the EAA AirVenture grounds.
Registration is $275, while a package including symposium recordings and PDF presentations is available for $150.
Full-time students may attend for $50, and students conducting electric aircraft research are invited to participate in a Student Poster Session for an additional $75.
Poster proposals should be submitted to info@eas2026.org.
Sponsors of EAS 2026 include several great folks — AERO Friedrichshafen, BLOOMY, GoEngineer, NEXA Capital Partners, Pivotal, Robinson Helicopter Company, Toray Industries, Inc., Vertical Flight Society, Whisper Aero and Wisk.
Advertisers include Bosch Aviation Technology LLC and RED Aircraft, while exhibitors include BLOOMY, M4 Engineering, Inc., Neuroglia Technologies, SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo and TotalSim.
First held in 2007, EAS has been co-located with AirVenture Oshkosh since 2017.
AirVenture attracted more than 700,000 attendees and 10,000 aircraft in 2025. EAS 2026 is organized by the Federal City Chapter of the Vertical Flight Society.
