MOT Issues New Rules for GA Operations
Both stem from the Civil Aviation Law amendments.
The Ministry of Transport has promulgated two new regulations governing general aviation activities, both effective from July 1 2026 — CCAR-120 Provisions on the Licensing Procedures for General Aviation Operations and the revised CCAR-290 Provisions on the Management of General Aviation Operations.
Both stem from the Civil Aviation Law amendments that took effect on the same day, which replaced the previous two‑permit regime with a single operation license for commercial operators.
