Dassault Systèmes Signs Agreement for Nanjing Smart Manufacturing Headquarters

March 28, 2025 —Dassault Systèmes has announced the signing of an agreement for its Smart Manufacturing China Headquarters project in Nanjing.
The French software giant's new Nanjing base will specialize in industrial equipment solutions, providing operational software and system integration services to manufacturing enterprises.
Plans call for cultivating a broad network of suppliers and partners around the new headquarters.
The agreement will capitalize on Nanjing's established manufacturing ecosystem and the talent pool from local universities and research institutes, the company said.
While Dassault Systèmes did not disclose the financial details of its investment, the agreement further strengthens the company's presence in China — driven by the increasing demand for digital transformation solutions in the country’s manufacturing sector.
The company already serves aerospace, automotive, and industrial equipment clients through several offices across China.
The announcement follows Guangdong Gaoyu Technology (GOVY) partnering with Dassault Systèmes to support digital innovation in eVTOL aircraft development and airworthiness certification.
The agreement, announced on March 20, aims to combine resources and expertise to drive progress in China’s low-altitude economy.
