EHang Unveils VT35 eVTOL Aircraft, Priced at 6.5 Million Yuan
October 13, 2025 — EHang announced the global launch of its new VT35 aircraft today at a product event held in Hefei, Anhui province.
The VT35 is a two-seat, autonomous eVTOL aircraft designed for medium- to long-range regional air transport.
Featuring a composite-wing, the aircraft has a full-load range of at least 200 km (124 mi), a cruise speed of 216 km/h (134 mph), and a maximum endurance of around 60 minutes.
Maximum takeoff weight is 950 kg (2,094 lb) with a payload capacity exceeding 200 kg (441 lb).
It measures 8.26 m (27.1 ft) in length, 8.16 m (26.8 ft) in wingspan, and 3.09 m (10.1 ft) in height.
The standard version is priced at 6.5 million yuan (roughly USD 914,000) per unit.
Building on the VT30 platform, the VT35 incorporates upgraded autonomous flight control and power systems. It integrates with EHang’s autonomous operation and dispatch platform, enabling flight management and coordination.
The aircraft is targeted at intercity, cross-sea, and cross-mountain routes.
A tilt-configuration version is also under development, with a prototype currently undergoing flight testing, the company said.
In August, EHang signed an investment cooperation agreement with the Hefei municipal government to establish the VT35 series headquarters in the city.
The partnership will support full-chain development of the aircraft, including R&D, manufacturing, certification, supply chain management, sales, and training.
Total investment in the project is expected to reach around 1 billion yuan (roughly USD 141 million), with the Hefei government providing approximately 500 million yuan (roughly USD 70.2 million) in support through aircraft orders, investment, and other industrial cooperation initiatives.
