Press Release: AsBAA China Chapter
Bombardier, Textron, Bell, Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney Canada, and Airbus (which hosted a tour of its Tianjin final assembly line) were among the OEMs represented.
The Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) China Chapter held its annual summer networking event in Tianjin on June 17–18, drawing more than 130 industry professionals from across the Asia-Pacific.
Operators, charter brokers, financiers, and premium service providers gathered to discuss how Chinese business aviation firms can better integrate global resources and expand internationally.
The event also featured participation from major OEMs including Bombardier, Textron, Bell, Honeywell, and Pratt & Whitney Canada, alongside a tour of Airbus’s Tianjin final assembly line.
For researchers and reporters — I have included the press release below.
On a personal/professional note — While AsBAA is widely recognized as the primary industry body for bizjet stakeholders, the association’s three pillars—advocacy, representation, and community—offer a framework that is equally relevant for companies entering aviation from adjacent sectors such as UAVs and automotive.
The association is also highly relevant for eVTOL developers, suppliers, and providers.
For newcomers navigating Asia’s regulatory landscape and looking to connect with the right people, I recommend becoming an AsBAA member—or at the very least, joining one of their discussions.
The insights are consistently educational and pragmatic — and very much grounded in operational safety.
Meanwhile, over my 13 years of aviation reporting, I have had the opportunity to speak with various members, including Paul Desgrosseilliers of ExecuJet Haite.
For media, AsBAA members are a highly reliable source with information easily verified.
