Shandong Launches Strategic Portfolio to Accelerate Low-Altitude Economy
Province Spotlights 50 UAV Products, 30 Use Cases in Low-Altitude Drive.
In a move to accelerate the growth of its low-altitude economy, the Shandong Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Shandong Department of Transport have officially released a list of 50 key low-altitude products and 30 representative application scenarios.

The announcement follows a province-wide selection process that included enterprise submissions, departmental nominations, expert evaluations, and public consultation.
The list acts as a curated portfolio showcasing Shandong’s industrial strengths.
By publicly endorsing these products and use cases, the government aims to attract investment and channel resources into high-potential sectors.
It also serves as a demonstration model to support the broader development of low-altitude industries across the province.
The release coincides with two major initiatives: the launch of Shandong’s first low-altitude equipment innovation competition and the formation of a provincial drone standardization committee.
Winning competition entries will benefit from incentives such as prioritized access to resources, commercialization support, and facility usage.
To ensure effective implementation, city-level authorities are being encouraged to strengthen policy backing, promote selected products and scenarios, and tailor strategies to local conditions.
At the same time, selected enterprises and institutions are expected to boost R&D investment, enhance product competitiveness, and drive innovation in Shandong’s rapidly expanding low-altitude sector.
