Qingpu District has launched a new action plan to boost its low-altitude economy, aligning with national and Shanghai municipal policies.
The plan aims to foster new industrialization, accelerate innovation, and support rapid growth in the low-altitude economy.
By 2027, Qingpu intends to — among other things — create a robust industrial cluster focused on the research, development, and manufacturing of technologies such as drones, eVTOL aircraft, and advanced general aviation planes.
The initiative is set to attract key industry players, with over 50 related projects expected to establish a presence in the district.
