A new Chinese group standard for low-altitude flight safety assessment was published last month. The framework covers pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight risk evaluation using data-driven and AI-assisted methods. It is intended for operators, service providers, and regulators across applications such as logistics, inspection, emergency response, and manned transport.
The standard aims to shift safety management from static, experience-based approaches to continuous, data-informed assessment.
