Effective April 30, 2025, the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone in Henan Province has introduced a two-year policy package to accelerate the development of its low-altitude economy.
The measures include financial incentives for drone and eVTOL enterprises, rewards for airworthiness certification, subsidies for vertiport construction and cargo/passenger routes, and support for R&D platforms, talent recruitment, aviation education, and public service applications.
The initiative aims to position the zone as a national hub for next-generation aviation.
