On August 14, Yunnan officials released a set of measures to support the development of the province’s low-altitude economy.
The plan includes 15 initiatives focused on promoting UAV manufacturing, safety supervision, technological innovation, industrial clustering, logistics, cultural tourism, sports, and international market expansion.
Key elements include targeted rewards and subsidies for enterprises, support for testing and standardization of plateau UAVs, development of low-altitude infrastructure and intelligent networking systems, and measures to integrate domestic and international markets.
The measures are designed to foster coordinated development across government departments, attract investment, support talent development, and encourage practical applications of low-altitude technologies.
By combining policy support, financial incentives, and industry collaboration, Yunnan aims to become a leading hub for low-altitude manufacturing, multi-application flight operations, and regional export services.
Let’s get into it.
