UAV Report Part One: Aerospace Times Feipeng
This is part one of a two-part report, which highlights two of China’s UAV stars—Aerospace Times Feipeng and JOUAV

In the shadow of DJI, China’s dominant drone giant, it's easy to overlook the country's other stars in the UAV sector. However, several of the country's drone companies are making significant strides, each contributing its own expertise and often improving the livelihoods of individuals and communities—an important focus of China's central government planning.
On the civilian side, next-generation technologies are being developed to address socio-economic challenges, including fire response, flood management, search and rescue (SAR), industrial inspections, medical applications, remote logistics and more.
Much of this innovation is being driven by a new generation of talent— many who have honed their skills domestically, often within China’s aerospace giants like AVIC or COMAC. Many of these innovators come from top engineering programs at leading universities, such as Tsinghua University.

Against the backdrop of UAVs paving the way for both crewed and uncrewed eVTOL aircraft flights, this two-part report highlights two of China’s rising stars—Aerospace Times Feipeng and JOUAV—companies that are advancing the low-altitude industry and making a meaningful impact on communities.
